  • Exam Pattern

There will be a paper of 300 marks in which the total number of questions will be 150 and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours. Prelims

There will be a paper of 200 marks in the preliminary examination in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours. In the said paper, questions related to general knowledge and contemporary issues will be asked. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent marks in this will be declared unsuccessful for the main examination.

Main Examination

Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will be given the opportunity to appear in the main examination. There will be two papers in the main examination.

1: The first paper will be of 2 (two) hours in General Hindi of 200 marks with 100 questions and it will be mandatory to obtain minimum qualifying marks of 30 percent otherwise they will be declared ineligible.

2: The second paper will be related to General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and Mental Ability Test. The marks of the second paper will be 200 in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours.

3: 0.2 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both stages of the examination. The answer sheet will be in duplicate, one copy of which will be kept safe with the Commission.
